WHAT SHOULD I DO IF I HAVE LOST MY DOG OR CAT?
- Post signs around the area with a description of your pet with contact info.
- Distribute signs to local businesses.

- Fill out our Lost Pet Form so we can do our best to help you find your pet.
- If your lost pet has rabies tags, the person that found the animal should automatically call your veterinarian. Contact your vet. Once reunited, we suggest microchipping. This is a relatively new program, but any veterinarian can do this. They also have the “readers” to give instant contact information to their owner.
WHAT CAN I DO TO HELP THE GUADALUPE COUNTY HUMANE SOCIETY?
- Donate and pay dues
- Tell your friends and neighbors about the Shelter
- Sponsor “Pet-of-the-week” ads
- Recycle paper at our shelter
- Recycle aluminium cans at our Shelter
- Give memorials to the Shelter
- Support our fund raising activities: Garage Sales, Casino Nights, Photos with Santa, Etc.
- Donate money and supplies
- Ask your class, club, organization, business, scout troop and co-workers to help
- Most importantly, adopt your dogs and cats from us!
